Crawford House, Liverpool
Business Incubation and Community Centre in Toxteth.
The works consisted of a new two storey brick and block clad building, built off the original foundations of demolished building with a portal steel framed 2 storey section to the rear. The roof to the front traditional brick and block section was tiles on timber trusses with insulated metal cladding to the rear steel frame.
County South Building
A £4.6m refurbishment to BREEAM “Very Good” of the 1969 County South five storey building. It is home to the Educational Research, Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), Institute for Cultural Research and Imagination / LICA, and has residential accommodation on the top floor. It was and upgraded internally in three phases over a 63-week contract with departments being decanted during the work.
