Ripley St Thomas gets creative.

Back to Home

Kevin Roberts Chief Executive Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi, one of the world?s leading creative organisations employing over 7000 people in 86 countries took time out of his busy schedule including a recent campaign with the newly appointed US president Obama to visit Ripley St Thomas visited School, Lancaster to give an inspirational talk to the children.

Saatchi & Saatchi creative highlights include the Cadbury?s drumming gorilla, most recently the eyebrow children, along with T mobile?s dancing at Liverpool Street station. During Kevin?s speech he illustrated examples of their media success to over 250 children in their new lecture theatre that has recently been construction by Barnes Construction (UK) PLC. The talk was quirky and humorous with a few choice words in parts that had the children laughing and many of the teachers squirming.

Kevin, who was born in Lancaster in 1949 and was expelled from Lancaster Royal Grammar School said ?I returned to the area to talk to the children as the previous deputy of Ripley, St Thomas Norman Ellis had taken me under his wing over twenty five years ago and has been a mentor to me ever since?
